my week in photos

My week in photos is a weekly post where I share some of the photos that I took during the week that (mostly) didn’t make it to my Instagram feed. I’m always looking for ways to improve my photography skills and welcome any comments.

A rumpled, unmade bed.
Well, I’m ready to parent a teenager. Sisko is somewhere under that pile of blanket. Most mornings, I wait to make the bed until he gets up. Some days, the bed doesn’t get made until *late* morning.
One of my loves is macro photography. I love getting up close and personal with my subjects and getting down to the tiny details. This week, I listed a lovely pink wool yarn on my Etsy shop.
It would have been criminal to not go on a walk on such a gorgeous day. It was sixty degrees and the sun was shining. Justin was a sport and walked down to the public library with me. I had put a book on hold and it was time to go get it. It felt super eco-friendly to walk there and the book is about eco-friendly practices to boot. Also, any doubt about Sisko being a deer head chi is dispelled by this pic.
From 60 degrees to this in under 24 hours. I think the entire City of Denver shut down for the snow storm that we had on Wednesday. I was happy to see that the pet food pantry decided to reschedule our monthly distribution for next week since we would have been outside during the worst of it. On the upside, we’ll be in the 40s and 50s for the rest of the week and it should clear itself up.

How did your week go?

    1. As bad as the storm was snow-wise, it was actually the wind that the worst. There were power outages all over the city that caused schools to be canceled for the second day. We’re going to be in the 40s and 50s for the rest of the week. At least the snow doesn’t stick around for long around here!
